Who are the Traveling Trevallies?
The Traveling Trevallies are a group of volunteers who have an expressed desire to expand their joy and education by volunteering with other organizations, assisting in conservation activities, and building relationships with both Georgia Aquarium volunteers and those from other organizations that share the same love for our aquatic friends and their environments. All volunteers have the opportunity to attend the Traveling Trevallies’ trips and activities. To get involved or join one of our upcoming trips, you can attend a pre-trip meeting or send an email to travelingtrevallies@yahoo.com to get involved.

While the Traveling Trevallies are responsible for their own lodging, transportation and expenses on trips, the Georgia Aquarium will facilitate the planning of activities and organizing of events. The Traveling Trevallies cannot guarantee space or inclusion for non-volunteers on trips depending on volunteer interest.
It is up to each individual to determine the level of participation with the group. Volunteer hours are awarded for the hours spent on education/ volunteering and not for additional social activities/meals.
If you plan to visit another Aquarium or conservation facility on your own, you can also coordinate that trip through the Georgia Aquarium as they can facilitate entry and identify if any benefits are available for our volunteers.
