Welcome to Guest Services!
The Guest Services Department staffs volunteers in various interactive areas around the Aquarium. If you love talking to people, we would love for you to volunteer here! Please see below for a list of Guest Services positions with a brief description of each position. One of the best things about Guest Services is that you can get started right away!

Tips for being Engaging!
In order to give guests “the world’s most engaging aquarium experience”, here are some simple tips on how to engage guests at some of these Guest Services positions:
- Smile! This is the simplest way to let visitors know you’re open for questions!
- Ask guests if there is something specific they would like to see on their visit today
- Ask if the guests are new to the city of Atlanta
- Notify guests of our newest attractions (new belugas, seals, penguins)
- Suggest the 4D show, Planet Shark, a Behind-the-Scenes tour, or even a Swim with the Gentle Giants that guests can purchase tickets for!
