Diving at the Georgia Aquarium is an exhilarating and rewarding experience. This is a time to explore, understand, appreciate and assist with daily operations of the team. The Dive Volunteers, since 2005, have contributed over 40,000 hours of underwater time. This opportunity is spent cleaning the windows, vacuuming and scrubbing the exhibits to make sure our guests experience a unique opportunity of seeing four whale sharks swimming around the largest animal habitat in the world.
Diving in Ocean Voyager is just one of many dive opportunities at the Aquarium. You get to experience the frigid waters of the beluga and seal environment or warmer conditions of tropical reef. If you commit to 24 dives a year and other opportunities throughout the Aquarium, the possibility of taking further training courses related to diving can be made available to you.
Join the dive team of the Georgia Aquarium and experience an underwater adventure!
